  1. Ya know, I hope I am not going to regret approving your account. Talk shit all you want, but a majority of us gave due respect for this game all week, and everyone in the gameday thread did as well. Lumping us as "Giant LOSERS!" will not go over well, but I'll give you some leeway for the moment.

You know what? You're right. I guess some of the negative comments by a few members of your board kind of pissed me off. I give credit to the Giants and most of the fans are pretty decent. My apologies if I offended.

  2. Every year Sean Payton does it with mirrors and Brees early in the season and every year they eventually get the crap kicked out of them

This year the crap kicking is going to be administered early.....and all the commentators will say we still have not beaten anyone, that New Orleans was not a contender

    LOL....... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Bet you're not laughing now. It felt great busting that cherry. The crap kicking WAS administered early. Giant LOSERS!

  3. let me guess. Saintsreport? Tell Andrus to go fuck himself. Oh and I agree with everything you said, except the secondary. Sharper has had a good season, and the rest of the secondary is much improved over the jason david debacle, but the Giants are pretty good back there too. I think the 30 pts Dallas put on them was a result of a tough division rivalry paired with the noise and energy from the new stadium. I dont see anyone else hanging 30 on them the rest of the season.

The Giants got fucked,. It felt great busting that cherry. You loudmouth asses got what you deserved. Go to hell.

  4. Great Song from Three Dog Night. We have watched Eli and Peyton grow up, play at Newman High School, college and the pros. The Manning family is well loved in New Orleans and many Saints fans will tell you that we are always pulling for the Mannings. Just not when they play the Saints.

  5. :happy birthday:

    Well Spoken my N.O. Friend

Lets see if your team can back up your opinions.......meeting the Giants is like putting your team through a meatgrinder You will have to be awfully tough to match the Giants physically......thats the rub, and the thing the stats don't show......we are an extremely physical team but can strike offensively from any part of the field

If you do win, and some pundits are picking you......you will have earned it

A lot of the national media is picking the Saints, yet the local media is picking the Giant. I think either team is capable of winning. This game is more important to the Saints because a win will make them a serious Superbowl contender. If you beat the best, you will be considered a contender and I would say that the Giants are the top two. I am from Brooklyn, and have been a lifelong Yankee fan. I moved to New Orleans when I was four and have been a Saints fan since it's inception. I have family in New York, and they are Mets and Jets fans, go figure. I really got into the Yankees in the 70s when they had Louisiana Lightning Ron Guidry pitching for them. Most Saints fans will tell you that we really like Eli Manning because we watched him grow up, and he is like family to us. We have seen his success from High School, College and the Pros. I guarantee you that most Saints fans were jumping up and yelling for Eli and the Giants during the Superbowl, and we feel the same about Peyton. You guys have a great team. and if we win on Sunday, we will take a huge step up in status and will be viewed as a quality team, because the Giants are a quality team. It is going to be a tough one. I say that you will lose to Philly because they are a good team and it is hard to sweep a good division opponent. We will surely have our hands full with Atlanta.

  6. The Saints are not clearly anything

This will be their 1st test and they will flunk miserably..........mark my words>>>

The Giants weak secondary will be exposed this Sunday, mark my words

They cannot match up with us physically..............no QB alone is going to beat this present Giants team.

They have more than a QB, the Saints will have Thomas, Bell, Bush, and Heath Evans to tote the rock, and Dallas has already proven that the ball can be run down the Giants throats. The Giants D Line is the best in football. The Saints have a pretty good offensive line, Drew Brees is probably the least sacked QB in the NFL over the past couple of seasons. You have an injured QB and RB, I think the Saints Defense matches up pretty well at this point.

<<<He will be harassed all day long......he is not a quick hitter like joe montana......brees thrives on the mid range and long range stuff>>>

That's exactly what Drew Bree is, he has the quickest release in football. He has been compared to Dan Marino with his ability go get rid of the ball quickly.

<<<As a matter of fact the only team I think has a shot at beating us baring injuries is Philadelphia, and they are a longshot at that>>>

Philly will beat you. But they were blown out by the Saints 48-22. You can say that the Saints D gave up a lot of points to Philly and Detroit, but those were garbage points long after the game was decided. In the Saints other games the gave up 3 to Buffalo. The TD was scored off a fake field goal. The jets scored off a short field after a Bush fumble, so the Saints D only give up three, really while scoring a couple of TDs too.

See you on Sunday, may the better team win.

  7. Here are my thoughts on the saints game.

The Giants are coming of a reasonably easy schedule, (although playing away in the west coast and two divisional games is alot harder than people realise).>>>

The Giants beat a winless Redskin team by 6. You barely beat Dallas by two when Romo handed you the game in Dallas., who ran the ball down your throats. Then, you beat three other teams that have one win between them.

    >>Mind you the Saints have played Detroit, Philadelphia (who were aweful), Buffalo and NYJ. They have only really played one tough game, which they played at home.>>>

OK, you know how tough it is to go into Philly and get a win with or without McNabb, and the Saints BLEW THEM OUT! The Jets were unbeaten and getting all the hype before the Saints busted that cherry. Get ready, because you are going to see how it feels on Sunday.

Firstly the Giants have to step up as we come against our toughest opponent so far.>>

You got that right, the Saints have NEVER trailed this season. They have won by 18, 26, 20, and 14 this season.

The Saints have a genuinely explosive offense, particularly through the air; but our defense is particuary good against the pass. This will be an interesting challenge for our defense, but think we are up to the task. Once again our pass rush will be key, but I think we will get alot of pressure on Brees.>>>

You have not faced a QB like Brees yet. You lofty pass defense numbers are a joke. Look at what Brees does to you injury depleted secondary. Boley not playing is huge. No Kenny Phillips and his backup is questionable? You guys are in trouble.

New Orleans is doing well, but I think we are much more physical in the trenches on both sides of the ball. whilst their LBs and safeties are decent, their CBs seem to be guys we can exploit; other than KC, we have faced much better CBs in all of our games. I think Eli will be able to exploit this secomndary, I really like the way we spread the ball around in the air, pretty much anyone can get the job done. Eli Manning is having a mvp calibre season.

Eli is going to exploit the Saints secondary? On a foot that he can't plant? The Saints have twice as many interceptions as the Giants. Darren Sharper has owned Eli Manning, and he is already looking like a pro bowler. This game might put him in the defensive player of the year group.

I like Eli a lot. I watched the kid grow up. Many of us down in New Orleans almost feel like he is family. We love to see him succeed. I was really happy to see him lead the Giants to that Superbowl win and blemish that perfect record that the Patriots had. I will always pull for both Mannings. They are well liked in their home city.

One key in my opinion will be our running game and our ball control offense.>>>

The Giants lost one of their heads in the three headed monster. He is in Tampa now. The Saints now have the three headed monster. Thomas, Bell, and Bush. While you are trying to stop them, look out, here comes Heath Evans.

We need to get Brandon Jacobs involved big-time - he doesn't seem to be quite firing on all cylinders at this stage.

New Orleans is solid up front, but isn't what I would call stout - Kendrick Clancy, Sedrick Ellis, Anthony Hargrove and Vilma are not the biggest guys and I think smash mouth football running down their throat will be a key factor, particularly with Jacobs/Hedgecock.

Good Luck running down the Saint's throats. Jacobs looks slow and plodding, plus his head is not right this season, Bradshaw is very good, but his health is a factor.

Giants have a better Defense, but they have not forced as many turnovers. Saints secondary is better, it is the truth. Giants will be exploited by Brees. You can't cover Colston, Henderson, Moore, Meachem, and Bush, if you do, here comes Shockey. I am not taking anything from the Giants, they are a very good team, if this game was in New York, I would say that the Giants had a better shot. You can talk about the Giants road record til you are blue in the face, but after Sunday, there will be one more loss.
