Jim Nasium!!! Ahhhh OK OK
I got kicked out of GMB because I fucking took that imbecile SIG to task. And that other Nazi mod - forget his name. I fucking couldnt stand Money either. Too full of themselves.
Now Jack, wizdum....those guys were fun.
Where are BadEgg and IHD now?
TAGF has simply become a bad place to talk giants football. I used to post over there religiously. Nowadays, not so much. It is just troll and asshole infested.

He is only one guy though. Their group overall is mediocre at best. Just my opinion. What do you mean? Diggs is really good and will eat up the Giants in intermediate routes

As much as I'd like to happen, the only reason JR and MacAttack are still here, are to get the last few years out of Eli.
Unless they pull a SB out of their asses I cant see them staying after Eli retires, it will probably be a whole new regime change from top to bottom and the hunt for a new QB.
I just dont see them blowing a first/second on a QB when they are trying to milk Eli for one more miracle run, when that could be a WR/TE/LB or something to help immediately.
I mean very very rarely do you ever see a team go from Lord Favor to Rodgers, heck Manning to Luck hasnt even worked out for the Colts.
I agree with your last sentence. It is not going to be easy. Teams rarely get good franchise QBs back to back like that. Personally, I wouldn't mind if they invested in a future QB that early in either the upcoming draft or the one after that. At some point, it will have to be addressed. We certainly know that Nassib has no future here after this season.

Thompson , Berhe , DRC , Apple ........ all injured .........i think we are fucked ( to be honest ) against the Vikes ...........hope we can find a pass rush
We are pretty fortunate that Bradford isn't all that and the Vikings receiving corps is mediocre at best. I personally have us beating them 28-17, mainly because of our own WRs vs their DBs.
-
The one thing that I am concerned about is how Eli has done against a Mike Zimmer lead defense. He was the DC for the Bengals in 2012 when they beat us up and obviously the Vikings HC last year for the beat down albeit was without OBJ.
-
Likewise.
He's earned it. All too soon, it will be next man up.
Played poorly by his standard last week, but on the balance I don't think he's ever been better than he is right now.
As far as finding the next QB is concerned, I would prefer if they found his replacement while he is still here. That way, it will be more of a smooth transition.
-
He is a strong safety by nature. Desperate times call for desperate measures. At least it isn't Taylor or Dahl working out for us.
-
Other than that drive in week 2 vs the saints, I don't recall the last time we came through in crunch time.This. Or a back breaking fumble.
I haven't seen any fourth quarter heroics in a long time.
-
Did you get banned for not drinking the big blue kool-aid?
LOL, no. I have gotten suspended before though for calling out a moderator though.
-
I personally think the 4th quarter quarterback is a thing of the past. I used to have confidence that if we get the ball in the fourth, down a score, that we were coming away with a win. Now, we are going to be coming away with a back breaking interception.
It is definitely strange that Eli hasn't come through for us late like he used to. Some people point to the 2013 season as a year that changed him. Shit, that was a rough year for him and us as fans.
-
Agree with above. Will miss Eli once he's done. He doesn't let the NY media eat him alive. Dude will never get the credit he deserves.
You know how it is. People don't appreciate what they have until it is gone. Then and only then will Eli fully get the appreciation and respect that he deserves.
-
yes , agreed BIC , ( Eli's ability to totally shit the bed one week and then bounce back and play brilliantly the next week is both frustrating and amazing )
Absolutely

Best QB to ever put on Giant's blue.
He may not be remembered as the most accurate, or what be in the same division of the likes of his older brother, Montana, Brady, whoever.
But he will be remembered for one thing, winning.
4th quarters comebacks, playoffs, and SBs, he's won them all, and in a city known for chewing up players and spitting them out if they don't perform the moment they step into the spotlight.
I think the Giants are going to sorely miss Eli when he decides to move on, because getting a player like him is a one in a era type of deal.
That's cool with me. Personally, I take the good along with the bad. I posted a thread on the official website (TAGF) that I was burned out by the mistakes that he makes. However, he is still a good to great QB. IMO, he compares similarly to Brett Favre. He will make a shit load of plays and mistakes all at the same time. He is absolutely the best QB in franchise history. With Eli, you just have to accept the the bad with the good.
-
Personally, I have a love, hate relationship with our QB. He makes you love and hate him in every game that he plays. I am going to both miss him when he retires and be glad when he is gone. Weird shit, right?
-
We will be fine. Bradfuck cant do shit and wont have time to even look at throwing towards the safeties.
Agreed
-
I just hope that they're not desperate enough to bring Cooper Taylor or Dahl back. They're both bums.
-
The giants have a chance if they use their receivers like their supposed to. Donnell and Tye should not see a ball thrown their way. Both them suck ass.
-
Why not? He was a good player for us. Make it happen
-
I'm suprised no one mentioned Seattle Seahawks secondary coach Kris Richard as a replacement. Last year we helped promote the QB coach for the best QB in the NFL IMO to OC. Why not help promote the secondary coach of the best defense in the NFL? He will be a DC somewhere next year. Book it.
-
LOL @ both Tom Quinn and Perry Fewell both coming back along with Teflon Tom. The only way these guys, along with Teflon Tom, will ever leave the giants is in a body bag.
-
What I learned is that Teflon Tom is running shit in the giants organization. John Mara sounded absolutely clueless today. It was a horrible press conference. Teflon Tom, on the other hand, can pretty much do whatever the hell he wants here and John Mara is just a figurehead. The team gets worse every year and TT gets untouched. He is a boss!
-
JPP FINALLY got help when they Kiwanuka got hurt. Thats' what really happened. They also finally started moving him around. Fewell will be a HS JV team next season. His incompetence makes my blood boil.
-
I'm not sure if Mettenberger is going to play, but it really doesn't matter. Either him or Jake Locker will have their way with this defense.
-
Sup Sharick?
Hey you. It's been a minute. Hope all is good with you.
How to use Beckham.
