Accorsi is more consistent - his first round picks always suck. Shockey never plays a whole season and he drops passes constantly while conplaining incessantly - he also refuses to attend off season work outs - Eli lack of athletic ability was bared for all to see in 2005. The Giants will not improve dramatically until Accorsi is fired. George Young was the Giants GM that brought in LT, Mark Bavaro, Phil Simms and free agents such as Carl Banks and OJ Anderson - along with two Super Bowl wins. It was when he left, the Giants fell into disrepair and have lacked a quality GM since Young's departure. This off season is just a repeat of so many wasted off seasons for the NY Giants under the inept leadership of Ernie Accorsi. Instead of Lawrence Taylor and Phil Simms, the Giants now opt for busts such as Ron Dayne and William Joseph in the first round, while throwing away future draft picks for a mediocre Eli Manning when a Super Bowl champion caliber QB in Ben Roethlisberger was free for the taking.

We gave Tyree a one-year tener, since he was an RFA, he may get an extension this year tough.

That's good, I can live with Harris and Morton. McQuarters would also be a nice addition, and Hasselbeck doesn't really matter too much.

I say sign him if he comes cheap, and at a short contract. I have a feeling that he will comeback after he tests the FA market.

Walker and Deloatch aren't getting cut.

Walker was just resigned to a cheap contract, and DeLoatch is young and might be able to play at safety.

DT is a major concern, going into the season with #94 and Robbins is frightening.

Wasting our money on a DT, when we really need a LB is more frightening. And if you read what I wrote, I also said that we could draft a DT, or even sign an undrafted rookie, which EA is very good at.

DT isn't a pressing need. We have Willy Joe, and Robbins, who can be decent starters when healthy. Look for us to get a DT in the draft, maybe in the 2 or 3 rounds.

Yes. I think that Ayodele would be a lot cheaper than Peterson and Witherspoon. Ayodele is also 27, and has not missed a game in his career. The thing that sticks out most for me, is 4 FF.

Will Allen has 4 in the last 59 games.

Looking at his stats (W. Allen), I wonder what happened between his first and second year. In Allen's first year, he had 4 INTs, in his second he had 1.

Well I think were done at CB for now (maybe we draft one) but Dyson would have been better, but I must say I am happy we got Madison for a nice price.

 

A OLB is a must, hopefully EA can lock down Peterson with the extra room, and if not then Witherspoon would be the next best, and if a deal can not be done with Will then LaVar should be next on the list. So hopefully one of them 3 is a giant in a few weeks. Peterson and LaVar can play strong and weak sides...(so just imagine signing both of them )

 

and Clancy should be re-signed hopefully

 

and a guy I would like is Antonio Bryant, but I doubt EA goes after him
