Jacbos: “I was frustrated and went to throw it (the helmet) down on the ground, and it got caught on my finger and went into (the stands),” he said. “I apologize for that. It was frustration on my part.”
He can't even successfully execute his temper tantrums.

Other then their personal gripes against the Giants I'm sure the ESPN execs told them to pump up the Jets since they are opening the season up with a MNF game. They also have two other MNF games later on in the season. Listening to the commentary and watching them interview Jet after Jet on the sidelines it was pretty obvious. If Eli didn't bust his head wide open I don't think they would of talked about a Giant all night.
plus ESPN has the Jets as the featured team on thier Hard Knocks show. ESPN was using the game as one big promotional stunt for thier own show basically.

I think our D is a bigger question mark as to whose coming back healthy and if they play well under Fewell's new scheme.
Jets are in a better situation until we see the Giants secondary prove that they are ready to bring it.

glad that the obvious move is now over. Let the healing begin.

haha you're most likely right....
I'm torn between thinking that our defense could have been alright based on the first five games when Phillips and many others were healthy or that it was merely a product of our easy schedule. I lean towards the latter, most definitely.
The Giants barely won the first Dallas game and the defense benefited from some timely interceptions to squeak out a 2 point win. Defense still gave up over 30 points and that was with Romo throwing passes directly to our secondary. In addition to Romo's charitable contributions, Jason Garrett pulls a gilbride by going away from their completely dominating run attack. If that doesn't happen, perhaps the warning signs are a little more evident earlier in the season.
That win and the beating up of the NFL basement teams gave this defense a false sense of self.

Even Matt Foley, Motivational speaker couldn't help these losers.
Apparently the team wants to end up living in a van down by the river.

It looks like letting Kawika Mitchell go to the Bills was bigger then first thought. It was nice having a linebacker that could actually blitz the QB.

It's going to take most of my weekend to remove this prediction from my ass.
Don't worry. Mine wasn't that close either.

Eli and the receivers have been the only bright spot on this team for the past 6 games. The off games they've had come when the O line gets destroyed. Surely the OP was being sarcastic. I hope.

Cashman has been banking on Joba and Hughes as being starters for the past couple of years. You'll definitely see them in the starting rotation with Hughes probably having some type of limitations aka the Hughes Rules. I wasn't a fan of the Joba Rules and I think it hurt more then helped but time will tell with how Hughes responds.

another player wants to get paid. Not shocking but I will take him if he plans on pitching like he did last year before he realized he wasn't getting traded.

I think the game plays out much like the atlanta and san diego games played out. The passing games comes back down to earth a little and the game is decided in the final minutes depending on who has the ball and which Giants D shows up.
-
Doubt it, I bet it will be more of the same shit
I agree on the offensive side. As long as the Giants have Gilbride, nothing will change.
The main differences will be on defense and only because we'll be getting some guys back that were injured.

Wouldn't an honor graduate know the correct use of "than", as opposed to "then"? Just sayin'.
Internet English teachers strike again!!!
I'll be sure to work on that. Thanks for the contribution.

lol - yeah that's it.
Acceptance is the first step to recovery. Good luck.

actually, you're one of the worst debaters i've ever met. and if you went to college, i'd be extremely surprised. if you had a professional occupation, i'd be even more surprised.
i figure high school and now you're an ass't' mgr at walgreens- which feeds your obsession for old ladies. you wear one of those blue shirts with a clip on tie and the cashiers call you pervy mervy.
You consider this a debate? hahahaha, you're more delusional then I thought.
Looks like senility is starting to set in.
Now you're fishing for where I work?! Look, when I was a kid my mom would warn me about middle aged creepy stalkers like you. So before you get your hopes up I will not accept any candy you offer me and I will not get in the back of your van to help you look for your lost dog.
-
so you didn't graduate high school- that's ok too.
is this some lame attempt to try and find out where I went to college so you can further your obsession with me?
I'm sure there are support groups for helping older men get over thier lust for younger men somewhere. Use your superior internet skills and google it.
-
so high school then- good for you.
Actually no but seeing as you believe their are grades in college, what grade do you believe your grandchildren are in college?
I'm sensing someone is a little insecure about thier mid life crisis playing out over a Giants Message board.
I'm sure you are under the impression that 5th grade was college in your day but times have changed
-
graduated with honors from a college?
You asked what grade I was in. care to enlighten me as to what grades are in college?
I know these college institutions were scary for you when they first started being built but I'm sure you felt the same way about the internet and look at how good you are at using it now!
Do I get Community Service credit when I respond to your posts for assisting the elderly?
-
what grade are you in, marv? or should i say what's the highest grade you finished? (feel free to take off your shoes for this one)
I graduated with Honors. You see, nowadays, they have schools that have more then one room and you actually stay in school for more then 5 years instead of leaving to help the family with the farm.
Have you started collecting social security yet?
-
oh marvin, that was cruel.
I'll be merciful with your lack of any substantive response and give you some more time to muster up some internet "schooling".
-
you should worry more about your attraction to 80 plus blind ladies, marvin. that's a little more serious. perverted and desperate some would say. me. i'm glad mom has someone to talk with.
So you're not denying your sad middle aged crisis . hahahahaha
I don't blame you being happy if your mom and I ever got together. I'd be the only real man she would have ever known in her entire life.
Was her blindness brought on from the onset of your birth?
-
i get a kick out of schooling you. i guess mickeef felt the same way. and you keep getting off the mat like trevor berbick:
So you admit you have an 80 year old mom...which means you are probably in your 50's or 60's and you worry about "schooling" people on the internet. HAHAHA. awesome.
Mickeef insisted no one on the Red Sox took steroids or would ever dream of illegally enhancing their performance. OOPS!!! The Manny and Ortiz news comes out and the coward is no where to be found.
It's not a shock you are only too proud to compare yourself to him and his tendency to allow his bitterness to make him sound like an ass . I would say it's pretty spot on.
We should go after Randy Moss
in New York Giants

WR is a strength on this team.....no need to bring in a potential cancer.
NO THANKS!!!!
