jranieli
why? because they suck and the worst team in baseball. Actually I am being a smartass and in all seriousness, Trachsel still sucks btw.

Plax 4 Prez
Mets wrap up set with Marlins New York (89-55) at Florida (73-72), 7:05 p.m. ET The Mets are inching closer and closer to an National League East title, and they must be feeling fortunate to have someone who's won more than a few division titles to help lead the way down the stretch. Tom Glavine, who won 12 division crowns while pitching for the Braves, will bring his late-season experience to the mound on Wednesday as the Mets sit one win away, combined with a pair of Phillies losses, from their first NL East title since 1988. Glavine got off to an outstanding 8-0 start to begin this season, but the veteran lefty has since tapered off, picking up just two wins since June 23. Since that point, Glavine has gone 2-4 with a 4.79 ERA. Glavine was effective in his last start, shutting out the Dodgers over 6 1/3 innings with five hits and five strikeouts for his first win since Aug. 5. Facing Glavine on the mound will be Marlins rookie starter Scott Olsen, who took his first loss in his past four decisions in his last start against the Phillies. Pitching matchup NYM: LHP Tom Glavine (13-6, 3.98 ERA) Though Glavine has won just two of his past 12 starts, the Mets have won four of his past six outings. FLA: LHP Scott Olsen (12-8, 4.01 ERA) Olsen has struck out 147 batters this season, breaking Dontrelle Willis' record by a Marlins rookie. Player to watch Hanley Ramirez has stolen 47 bases, the most by an NL rookie since Ichiro Suzuki nabbed 56 for the Mariners in 2001.
