jranieli Posted July 20, 2006 Share Posted July 20, 2006 LHP Tom Glavine (11-3, 3.56 ERA) toes the rubber for the Mets...He allowed three runs in five innings as part of last Saturday's 9-2 loss to the Cubs -- it was his first loss since April 24th...Glavine looks to become the National League's first 12-game winner...Glavine is 26-12 with a 3.41 ERA in 46 career starts against the Reds...Glavine has more wins against Cincinnati than any other active pitcher...Rich Aurelia is 14-for-41 (.341) in his career against Glavine... RHP Bronson Arroyo (9-6, 2.96 ERA) takes the hill for the Reds...He threw seven shutout innings last Saturday against the Rockies, but recieved a no-decision...Arroyo is 2-1 with a 5.23 ERA in three career starts against the Mets...Arroyo threw a complete-game as part of a 4-2 win over the Mets on June 19th...Carlos Delgado is 1-for-11 with three strikeouts in his career against Arroyo... The Mets and Reds have split six games this season... Rich Aurilia is batting .370 (17-for-46) with two homers and six RBI during his current 12-game hitting streak... Carlos Delgado is only 6-for-41 (.146) with 2 RBI this month... Jose Reyes is 12-for-26 (.462) with seven runs against Reds pitching this season...
