Would You Rather Have A-Rod or David Wright at Third

In the past years I would have definitly taken A-Rod over any player in the league for his production. I don't understand why he is slumping in almost every catagory. He is throwing way to many errors and striking out too much. What, he struck out 4 times a few days ago. One thing has never been is clutch. Come playoff time, he disapears. I think playing in New York is not really going well for him. This year, I would take David Wright. As an overall player, I would take A-Rod though.

Career-wise there's no comparison but I think if we're talking this year then it's pretty close!

I'll take Mike Young at SS.

 

I'd take him as the best second baseman in the league in hitting and fielding, If I were building a team... I would take Reyes as my short because of his speed, arm, and cieling.

I once stated I'd trade A-Rod for Wright, but I might have been just blowing gas. That would be a hard trade to do, and I think I'd stand pat. A-Rod has the potential to be the next triple crown winner once he gets his head screwed on straight.

 

On the other hand, if I had Wright, I probably wouldn't trade him for A-Rod, either.
