So we'll never get to see what a 40+ yard pass to Nabers looks like this season, huh?

I think lock was our only chance but it would’ve probably taken a few shots

Article just hit Giants Wire that it might not be Lock due to financial reasons as well...avoiding certain threahholds to save money.

Makes sense.

Giants are already looking at eating 22 million when they cut Jones.

If Lock has any incentives that add to his contract down the line might as well let DiVito get the go ahead and risk losing more cap space next year.

It should be Lock, but it doesn't matter. Neither options are good.

Lock won’t be on the team next year.  We should give Cutlets a chance to prove he can be the back up or bridge qb.

NFL schedule makers are regretting that Thanksgiving game.

Cooper Rush vs Tommy DiVito.

lol

DeVito makes this a more exciting game than Jones.

What if Cutlets goes on a run and plays well? Does that change our offseason strategy?

Maybe it means drafting a guy in the 2nd like Drew Allar or something?

Idk...guys like Beck having a worse year this year opens up possibility of trading up into late first and taking non qb is top 1st

That's what I was thinking. Outside Ward and Sanders, the rest are basically back end of the 1st or 2nd round guys at best.

Of course...that's a risk we may not be able to take.  My guess is we end up taking a white QB in the top 5...regardless of who might be the best choice.

I like what I have seen of Sanders on the field honestly as he operates more from the pocket than I thought originally, but can still work outside with eyes downfield...but I don't want ANY of the circus that MIGHT come along with him or his dad.

Allar was a good option for me, until he didn't play well against Ohio St.  How you play in big moments is important.  He should have another opportunity come playoff time in college football.

I havent watched a ton of college yet, so obviously there are other guys to consider.

Yeah if we draft at say 5 and the top-2 guys are gone we should trade down as much as possible to build assets for next year.  We need another Manning.

Always what a waste of six years for this franchise lol

At no point did we ever look like we were ready to compete outside of a one off fluke playoff win against a horrid defense.

Let's hope they get it right with the next guy.
