it is a little more space than they really need to just move guys around from the practice squad and waiver wire, so I guess we can read into it a little --- it gives them space to make a minor trade. Maybe acquiring or moving someone who adds $2-3 million in cap allocation.

i thought the Giants had around $17m in cap space prior to Jackson re-signing.

Giants are paying 21 million this season in dead cap for players no longer on the roster.

The names change but the front office bullshit stays the same.
