I mean this was always going to be the case not extending him or picking up his option.

I imagine the Giants will play the "franchise tag" game waving it in his face if he doesn't sign a new contract.

Which will only make Jones not want to sign wit the team after playing on a tag.

I'm sure his agent will be out there getting the market value for what Jones will bring in after the year he has.

Wouldn't be surprised to see some team throw a truck load of money at him, and it not be the Giants.
