 Not the new plastic bro

There has been clear plastic available since the '87 onward

If the need is there, they are going to do it

Yeah hockey helmets have a visor built in.

Playing myself there is no distortion or anything, no fogging.

So it would be pretty easy to introduce a league wide mandate for a visor, albeit I think it's unneeded.

If we can curve plastic to correct vision, we can curve plastic to not alter vision.

Yeah I mean the NHL has been doing it the last 30 years so I don't think it's a stretch lol

Not to mention you think NFL is going to risk hurting the on field product by letting players wear something that will impede their ability to perform? When millions can be made or lost on a single play?

Nawwwwwwww dog.

No one fucks with the $$$$$$ being made in the NFL.

Well except the refs.

But could you imagine the fog and sweat that would be on those things?  Grass, dirt, etc. they’d be taking time between every play to clean them. I think it’sa good idea but it would come with hassles

I often wonder how they are able to wear them during rain and snow games. I mean, they do...so there must be some work around on water drops obstructing their view....love to have whatever it is for my wind shield.

It’s the roundness of the visor that distorts the vision a bit.   Not a whole lot but for a QB or Receiver that fraction of an inch could be the difference between catching the ball or not.

It is the same plastic they use for motorcycle helmets now bro

No distortion

For sure bro

I rode with a non-distorting visor starting back in 1987/88

Could use tear offs like a dirt track driver...

They use a chemical similar to Rain X, along with anti-fog and anti-glare coatings

As CD put it the same as corrective lenses
