No Giants football.

I mean thank christ no more of watching that disaster.

But atleast we got to watch the Eagles and Cowboys loose.

I like Romo trying to play the loss off as a big Cowboys failure saying they were the best Cowboys team to lose in the playoffs.

I dunno Tony I remember a certain 14-2 Cowboys team with the number 1 defense and offense to loose to a certain Giants team in 2007.

Yeah I did enjoy this cold and beautiful Sunday.  Eagles being treated like imposter post season chumps.  Cowboy players and fans alike crying yet again as both teams go home a week after our suffering ended.

He's basically the new Madden of this generation.

His knowledge and playcalling is spot on and he's just a giant goof enjoying himself in the booth.

Also the 49ers are everything I want the Giants to be.

Not a perfect team but a competitive winning team.

Their offense is inventive finding ways to get their play makers involved. Debo is setting NFL records for a WR with rushing yards. Gorapapapalowaloo isn't a great QB but they aren't asking him to be, just make the throws when needed. Not to mention they are a run first team.

Their defense is what I remember the 2007 defense as, a fearsome Dline that only needs to rush 4, hard hitting LBs and a secondary who can create turnovers.

Maybe we should sign that assistant GM of the 49ers because I'd love to be them. Finding that RB in round six who's looking like the next best thing.

Yep...and both Eagles and Cowboys games weren't really close, despite the score at times.  Buccs and 49ers were both very much in control of those games.

Lots of 1st round playoff blowouts.  Those two games, Kansas City/Pittsburgh...Bills/Pats

We can trade him (and should) and save 7 million with a zero dollar cap hit. I'd try for a third but would definitely settle for a fourth for him.

At this point your lucky to get a 7th in 2045.

Best bet is to ride with him for a few weeks and hope he bounces back to form, then trade him. You won't save the full 7 million but maybe a few million mid season.

No team is going to trade for a RB who's going to cost 7 million, who can't even outplay his backup.

Right now you can sign any bum in free agency for vet min and get the same production.

Just a combination of injuries and having to bounce back from all that missed time.

I still think he can be the player he was the first two years, he just needs to go out there as show it.

I think Barkley is hesitant due to a shitty line more than anything.  Inclined to fix the line this offseason by any means necessary and see what new coaching can do with Barkley, Jones, Golloday, etc.

Agreed.

That said, I have my doubts that he will ever be able to undo that damage...similar to a shell shocked QB

This is my worst fear but he came into the league and torch it up.  I have more faith in him returning to form than some QB who never show any flash.

He definitely still has potential, but he has to be more decisive and be a little more one-cut-and-go kind of runner.  The dancing and hurdling shit has got to go.

Never again draft a running back above round 4 please

They are historically not worth it
