So why are they just ignoring their big offseason acquisition in Golladay?

He's had one fucking target and catch.

Get him the fucking ball

Jones has to throw the ball to him not in coverage.  Every ball I saw him throw to Golladay was high... behind... or in coverage.  Man I miss Eli...

I mean it's hard to ignore what Jones looks like compared to other QBs.

I just wish he would stop staring down the WRs, like a 16 year old gawking at the highschool slut.

It's hard to throw a fade when it's apparent from the start.

Major this... he is staring at his receivers like they have been feeding him some pussy...

I'm starting to get on the "replace Daniel Jones" bandwagon

Yeah we didn't get called for delay of game:rock:........ Jones throws incomplete in the endzone.....

probably the only time you want to get called for delay of game

I’ve been very patient with Jones but there’s no way the most open guy on the field was always smothered.  The guy might be a lost cause

I think so.... shades of Dave Brown.  We need a Fassell to hide the flaws of a Graham or a Danny Kannell...

Just don't think Jones is the guy.  He's got the season to prove everyone wrong, but I have to imagine the Giants are taking a QB very early in the 1st rd next year.

Golladay is as advertised though.

This VG... Golladay is good... he can't do miracles out there with three Broncos on him at the snap and Jones staring him down.  I would have a big case of alligator arms if Jones is my QB.

The Oline didn't even play bad this game.

They have up a single sack to a good Dline, for most of the game.

Jones had time this game.

Jones just looked fucking lost out there, like this was his first game.

I can't even say that he looked better in his first game lol

He looked like Dave Fucking Brown... the only difference is that Jones did not bitch at his receivers for not catching it in triple coverage, like Brown used too.

Giants are averaging 17 some off points under Garrett.

They have been held under 20 in 6 or more games, and under 10 in three of them.

Someone get this man a one way ticket back to Dallas.

Yes... that is on the OC.... you need at least 20 points a game to win consistently in the NFL of today.  You can't just win with just the defense these days.  You have to score.

Daniel Jones and JaMarcus Russel in 26 games.

Jones has one more win, but 27 more turnovers.

That stat hit me in the spirit.

Jesus.... God.... that is too much.  At least Dave Brown won his first two games before the wheels came off.  This is going to be a long season.

That was terrible today.

I think the front office panicked when we took Jones in the draft. Eli still had another year in him.

Well we have two first rounders next year.

I am not giving up on Jones, but I don't see a lot of progression.

How do you think the o-line was today?

Better than what preseason showed.

Not great but not awful.

Thomas name wasn't called which is a good thing.

Solder got beat by Miller but held up after that.

Peart made.some bonehead mistakes.

The interior of the like played alright though, Bredeson was in for some reps and Gates looks to be pushing people around.

Jones had time on throws today, he just responded by staring down his target lol

Eli had at least a year left, maybe 2 with the right scheme/coaching. Would've like to have seen what Judge could have squeezed out of Eli instead of Shurmur. Jones shows flashes but he's not "the guy".

Disappointed in the loss, but there's a lot of football left.

On to WTF.

Oh, and obviously, I must not make the gameday thread from hereon out.

Next Gen stat of the game: The Giants offensive line allowed pressures on 11 of 34 dropbacks when the Broncos rush used four or fewer pass rushers.

NFL Research: Broncos QB Teddy Bridgewater became the fifth quarterback in club history to throw 35-plus passes in a game with a completion percentage of 75-plus. The others: Jay Cutler, Brian Griese, Peyton Manning (five times) and John Elway (five times).

Giants always bail too early with QB's... Jesus.  I am sorry I never saw Jones as long term.  Will we ever get a running QB here?  I am tired of this drop back and get way laid back there.  Get some guys who can create back there.  What are they afraid of?

Was I drinking too much or did The pass protection look decent today?    The run push was ass.    But Jones had some time

Pass protection wasn't bad. They gave Danny plenty of time to stare at one receiver.

This as BiC wrote so eloquently... he had some time in pass protection.  One time he was going to let Galloway get laid out back there with his staring and throwing into triple coverage.  Three steps and throw.
