signing John Ross is subtraction by addition.

I think they’re expecting to move Danny outside the pocket and have the fast WR way behind the defense when he throws the ball...it’s a good risk. It’s worked on every team that’s employed a healthy Desean Jackson.

Pulley is not on the team.

Tweet from Sept. 2020.

Housekeeping item: Giants recently renegotiated C Spencer Pulley’s deal. Was due $5.5M over next 2 years, $2.75M each. They removed 2021 + dropped his base from $2.325M (non-guaranteed) to a fully guaranteed $1.625M. So Pulley took a $700K pay cut, but got some gtd money.

And from giants.com 4 days ago:

Current depth at C: Nick Gates, Jonotthan Harrison

Pending free agents: Spencer Pulley

Nick Gates signed as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He started several games at different positions along the o-line in 2019 before becoming the full-time center in 2020, where he started all 16 games. Jonotthan Harrison was recently signed to a contract to serve as Gates' backup and provide depth across the o-line. Spencer Pulley was claimed off waivers prior to the start of the 2018 season and has played in 17 games with 10 starts since. Pulley is set to become a free agent.

Unfortunately Ross is like the WR equivalent of Engram. The speed is awesome, the football abilities not so much. He'll win the footrace, but he'll drop the ball. He's like the guy you hold up as the worst case for Darius Slayton.

And I'm not even dinging him on the injuries.

He's a back of the roster player at this stage, WR #4-5. Similar to Corey Coleman. We still need a #1 WR (and OL).

Signing him doesn't really solve anything on this offense.

How many WR draft busts from Washington does this team need??? (Pettis being the other, who was a 2nd round pick).
