Gettleman logic. heh, well.... your choices here are a $10 million cap hit for a guy who doesn't play for the team at all, or a $10 million cap hit for a backup/possible starter. Given those two choices.... the latter seems the no brainer. Can't be mad at Gettleman about this one. (Signing Solder in the first place, well....) I believe the dead cap hit would of been over 10 million like 10.6 million of dead cap. I believe Solders cap hit is 10 million flat after the restructure. So they saved an extra like 600k. We have a team of backup OLs on this team, when the main problem with the Giants offense the last 4-6 years has been the OL.
