BlueInCanada Posted December 13, 2020 Share Posted December 13, 2020 This is the type of game where missing guys like Bakrley or not having a WR like OBJ is killing the offense. Jones isn't at the level yet or he may never be the type of QB that makes the players around him better. We need someone that the defense has to focus on, someone they have to account for on the field and shift coverages and alignments to them. Bakrley could take a draw play or a screen 50 yards to the house. OBJ took slants for massive gains and would outjump people when the play needed to be made. All we have now are RBs who are just one read guys and WRs who can't make the big grab. The Cardinals are just playing straight up cover 2 and letting their DBs beat up on our WRs.
