Giants lose in a completely non-competitive game that most of us have shut off at halftime.

Cowboys 41

Giants 20

Shut your Cracker mouth.

I think they were both very similar very good possession receivers

I think Steve Smith and Victor Cruz are a more accurate receiver comparison.

Not worried about Sterling Shepard yet.

Yeah I wouldn't put Smith and Shepard in the same catagory as WR.

Shepard can play on the outside and is physical.

Smith was a very small undersized dude, who was basically a third down machine.

that's a good comparison, both had outstanding field vision.

Cruz is a lot more like Tate except Tate is better at going and getting it in the air. Smith and Shepard arent YAC guys like those two

True. But of all the receivers over the Eli era, I would put Cruz and Smith at 1 and 1a in terms of seeing the field with the same eyes as the QB.

Amani Toomer was the best just past his prime when Eli came into his.

Toomer would be #2 IMO, yeah.... damn shame Toomer didn't come along a little later, he might have had a chance at the hall with the way he and Eli would have produced together.

Burress....Buress and OBJ and Nicks are probably the best WRs that Eli has played with - albeit for short durations respectively. Poor guy Eli - never had that kind of a tandem like Harrion Peyton, Ben Brown, Montana Rice, Aikman Irwin etc etc.
