BlueInCanada
I'm hoping that Haskins drops to #7-8 where ever the Giants end up.

mastershake
The 2020 QB Draft Class is shaping up to be a great one, between Tua, Jake Frohm, Justin Herbert, and Dwayne Haskins if he goes back. The 2019 QB Draft Class, now that Herbert is going back for his senior season is just meh. Drew Lock, Will Grier, Daniel Jones, Ryan Finley. Still, if one of these guys is around in the 2nd or 3rd, I'd take them (we'd have to trade back into the 3rd round). Though superstition: Does anyone else see a potential problem with taking a big and tall 6'5, slightly mobile QB with all the tools, from Duke, wearing #17, to eventually takeover for your beloved franchise QB of the past decade plus? Where has this happened before? LOL

BlueInCanada
He will be a bust Most QBs are. It's rare when a draft even produces a single QB who can lead a team to the SB.
mastershake
Daniel Jones is intriguing, but I bet if his QB coach was not the mentor of Peyton Manning, we're talking about Daniel Jones as a 5th round pick, not 1st round pick. What a difference an association can make.

CrazedDogs
I got it immediately but just now saw the thread I got it immediately, but was so disgusted by the thought of Dave Brown that I exited the thread. And I'd call him slightly mobile too, although possibly because his career high point was a scramble, when he trucked Deion Sanders. So I guess it wasn't a total loss. OldEagleFan
Its clear the correct play is to sign Eli to a 3 year extension and draft the sure thing from the 2020 crop. Gives that guy a year to learn from an old pro and you have a seasoned backup in case the young gun gets injured in his year two. Which is a possibility if the Giants cant free up cap space to dramatically upgrade their OL
