Lughead
Who should we be looking at in the draft to address the teams needs at OL,DL,LB and DB. We also have FA to look as well . ....some FA could hinge on HC and if the new HC brings in "his" coaching staff.

Copy and paste from the last draft or the one before that one or well any of the last 10.

Bigblue25
Not much they can do at OT theyre kinda stuck with Flowers. Id resign Pugh and sign Andrew Norwell at guard. Draft Round 1: Saquon Barkley RB Penn St Round 2: Chukwuma Okorafor OT Western Michigan Round 3: Jerome Baker LB Ohio St Round 4: KJ Malone OG LSU Round 4: Auden Tate WR Florida St Round 5: Brandon Facyson CB Va Tech Round 6: Brian Allen C Michigan State
Tempest
Anyone really think Justin Pugh is worth $10 million a season? He has already spent a third of his NFL career on the bench from injuries. I really like him but don't think he is the future of the offensive line. Now Andrew Norwell can be that future of the offensive line who has only missed one game and I predict he is going to be one of the blue chip players signed immediately in free agency. Herc
If we had more cap room Id be in on bringing him back. I think richbergs price will make him a better value for a team that doesnt have a ton of space

He maybe our best OL but that's a product of how pathetic our OL has been... Pugh is an average lineman and doesn't command $10M....

It's a fair point. I think in every unit, you need to have at least one blue-chip veteran to keep heads clear, act as a role model, etc. Pugh has been a nice player when healthy but as you say, he misses about 1/4 of every season. I love his team spirit and his versatility (I still think he's the best LT on the roster) but if he wants us to break the bank for him we might have to look elsewhere. In a perfect world, I'd love to get someone like Norwell and that Guard from Notre Dame. Let Flowers and Fluker compete on the right side and sign a stopgap guy at LT, or be sure to give one of our guys some help over there. Suddenly we'd only have one weak spot on the line instead of four. It's almost like somebody should have thought of this at the start of this past season. I think Justin Pugh is actually an above average player. He did a great job at Right Tackle and an even better job at Left Guard. I didn't agree with decision to move him to LG but understood that the team needed to strengthen the left side of the offensive line in 2015-2016. Pugh was the best RT the Giants put on the field in 2017 until he ended up on the bench with injuries. If he had put in 16 games in this season, would be all for giving him $10 million a season.
