*Official* Mock Draft Competition thread 2016

The Chargers taking Bosa fucked everything up. That was a big head scratcher, are they thinking he'll be a 3-4 OLB?

That, and to a lesser extent, the Cowboys actually taking Elliott over Ramsey.

I think it stemmed from the fucktard in the gasmask.

I can see why they picked him - he has those dim Emmitt Smith eyes.

I'll say it until people accept it. Emmett Smith was not the best RB in ANY category save maybe 1. And that was vision. He had the ability to see holes developing before they were actually opened. There was some quick twitch inside his head somewhere that knew how quickly he could get to a spot, and when that spot was going to open. He was able to link his vision with his timing and that, coupled with that offensive line is what made him as successful as he was. It was not that Smith was faster, stronger, or anything like that. Again, 75% of his success should be attributed to his mental ability to match vision and timing. 24% to his offensive line. The remaining 1% to his physical ability.

Dallas' offensive line is back to being among the league's best. If Elliott does have the vision that Emmett had...it's bad news for the rest of the NFC East.

Yeah, Smith was like a savant in that respect.

But I would flip those percentages.... 75% of his success was on that offensive line, 24% to his vision.

That offensive line... wow.... hated that team, but at the same time, as a fan of football, I loved watching that team play.

I knew all along Dallas would pick Elliot... they have the solid OL in place and they have the history to go with it.. be it DeMarco or even Emmit Smith...

yes, but due to the shit they trot out there and call defense, you'd have thought that they would've gone that side of the ball.

A normal NFL team would... not Dallas. I took into account Jones' personality.

Fuck, I didn't even beat Bucky Brooks.

Somebody's got to be last! Glad it wasn't me! The draft is tough... I really liked some players based on my study, and put them in the first round when most mocks didn't have it that way. That hurt me... Chris Jones, Mackensie Alexander, Jarran Reed (VERY surprised he didn't go in the first), and Noah Spence.

With Spence, I knew it was a gamble, he is such a huge pass-rushing talent, but boy does he have a checkered past. I thought somebody would take a chance on him in the first and I was wrong.

I still feel the fucking Jets should've drafted Lynch... That was fun though...
