Treehugger
Amazingly, when you feature one RB instead of equally dividing snaps between four guys, that one RB has a chance to get something going. I think McAdoo may have hit on a new trend.
Nas
I think rotating Jennings and Darkwa is sufficient... and I'm in total agreement that rotating too many guys gives none of them any rhythm...
Sephiroth
Well, Williams is a Boston College guy, so no. Unless...

CrazedDogs
yeah, I'm on this bandwagon now. I'm one to usually give the benefit of the doubt, but I've seen enough from Williams by now that I really don't understand how he plays ahead of any of the other running backs. He's obviously the weak link of the group, and he brings nothing to the table that Jennings doesn't clearly do better.
MikeGL
Weakest link in the group, if you're going to rotate...then rotate to test who are the weakest links. You've found your guy, or I'm hoping.

Agreed with Tree and Nas. Personally I think Darkwa is the best runner, but Jennings is a good runner and is very versatile
Storm
At least he only got 3 carries. Yeah, it only took until he forgot how to take a handoff and kicked a ball at the Dolphins for that to happen. Genius decision.

Genius decision. He also contributed an illegal block penalty on STs. He's been promoted to Team Dumbass with the departure of Moore.

To be fair though, there are ten thousand of those illegal block on ST's penalties called a game.

The turnaround moment of the game is when Williams dropped the ball. Fucking McAdoo is clueless.

UK-Giantsfan
if i was Andre Williams i would sit myself on the bloody bench ....... he cant run , catch , block or hold on to the rock ! ( he's a total liability )

CrazedDogs
The turnaround moment of the game is when Williams dropped the ball. Fucking McAdoo is clueless. Did Williams get another carry after that? I felt a little bad for the guy, the look on his face as he came off the field said it all. He knew.... he knew that was the end. Or at least, it should be. He just hasn't produced like the other three backs. And I'm a Jennings fan. Best vision we've had here since Tiki... very similar in their patience. I feel like he should get the majority of the carries, and he may only top out at 4.0 ypc, but with his consistency that is more than good enough. Treehugger
If the OLine could prevent some of the hits in the backfield, which is a major concern, I think we'd be fine with 60% Jennings, 30% Vereen (the best pass-blocking and best pass-catching RB) and 10% Darkwa. Herc
I was almost happy he fumbled cuz I figured that would finally convince the staff to give it a rest with him. Ideally Id like Jennings on first and second, vereen on third and passing downs, and darkwa backing up Jennings and getting 6 carries a game. This is exactly how I thought we'd go into the season except Williams in darkwas role but we just had to get cute

Allstarjim
Personally I think we set a low bar at the position, and although we can live with the group we have, I'm hopeful that Reese can find a RB that has a bit more game changing ability. Vereen is our best real playmaker at the position but he isn't really a guy who sees a lot of early down work nor do I think he should. He's just not a between the tackles guy although he is very valuable in his role. I think the Giants need to get a young guy there with good speed but not a scat-back. Barry Sanders should be in this draft (seriously, his son). But if you are talking about the need for a young player with talent than you can pretty much pick any position on this team and we need help there. Except maybe C and QB. He has to be a solid blocker before he'll see more time. He's got a shot to be the future starter but we've got two good backs ahead of him. I was amazed that Jennings could find holes in the line last night. The run blocking is awful, and drafting another RB won't help that. I haven't added up the stats but I bet Jenning would have been close to 100 yards last night if he didn't take all those hits in the backfield. He was fighting just to make it to the line of scrimmage on a lot of plays.
