기둥서방
Shaun O'Hara was worried he'd get emotional today during his press conference to announce his retirement. When the former Giants center looked up and saw his wife Amy crying, he realized he had to look elsewhere. He then focused on offensive line coach Pat Flaherty and saw even he was getting misty-eyed as O'Hara spoke about Flaherty's bout with cancer back in 2004. Finally, O'Hara looked beyond the cameras and saw Chris Snee. "He was back there (doing arm curls) like, 'Hurry up!'" O'Hara joked about his former teammate, who gets cranky when his time in the weight room is interrupted. The jokes were aplenty, such as when O'Hara quipped former linemate Rich Seubert couldn't make it because "they have these new weight restrictions on the planes. I would've had to pay overage fees." There were also plenty of heartfelt moments, such as when O'Hara began his round of thanks by noting the team's executive vice president of medical services Ronnie Barnes did him a service by sending him to the Hospital for Special Surgery in 2004 when he was dealing with a leg infection. Not only did O'Hara's health improve, but his life did as well. He wound up marrying his nurse. http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2012/09/former_giants_center_shaun_oha.html video of the press conference is in the link. BlueInCanada
Very under rated center while he played, he was a lot better then many made him out to be. Glad he retired a Giant. Wouldn't mind seeing his name up on the ring of honor.
Guest StrahansGap
One of the dirtier giants players in history but I love him.
Tempest
Yeah he was never the overpowering force in the middle but he got the job done. Now we have Baas....
