That must be who they are/where they are from...there's a lot with the French accent and A LOT of Muslim and Indian-Canadians...I have a lot of Canadian friends, though, and most of them I consider pretty much American....because they are actually normal. But damn, some of the folks up there are incredibly nasty. (and I'm sure it's the same for us Americans when you see us at the casinos and strip clubs over the border, I'm not trying to say we don't have our own share of assholes, just that I have to deal with an influx of import-assholes in the summer months and around Xmas)

 

I think I just have to get out of retail and start delivering pizzas or something....

 

I'll have to take a picture sometime...the lots at places like Kohl's and Target look like tornados hit the store and swept everything out into

the lot, lol.

 

Is border crossing like, easy for Canadians, though? For me, it'd require me to actually purchase a passport and wait in a line of cars for 2 hours.....and probably even longer coming back. I guess when you're paying like half what you would be paying, a full day allotted to shopping would be worth it.

 

It's the same rules either way. I think they still have to be in the US for 48 hours to avoid paying duty when they re-enter Canada.

 

They're actually building a new cross-border bridge (near Windsor I think) to speed it up.
