JackStroud
I like this line up but why value the Packers over the Patriots..........we crushed the Packers and the Patriots gave us all we could handle. The Patriots showed us a much better defense than the Packers did
Storm
I like this line up but why value the Packers over the Patriots..........we crushed the Packers and the Patriots gave us all we could handle. The Patriots showed us a much better defense than the Packers did Were you watching the same NFL games I was? We lost to the Packers, dropped the Patriots twice, then got a semi-easy game against a rusty Packers team who essentially gave the game away....and only THEN did we proceed to "crush" (though I was biting my nails the entire game, despite the score outcome). Don't get me wrong, we played well down the stretch...but the Packers are an all-around better team than the Patriots. They have the wideouts AND the tight ends....and a better quarterback on his way up, not down like Tom Brady.
JackStroud
I listen to a lot of NFL Sirius radio and the experts seem to agree The Packers have serious defensive isssues when they beat us , before our D had jellled.......they outscored us
Mr. P
and we played the pats before our D "jellled" and beat them. I think for over the course of a full season next year the packers will be the better team than the pats. but if the pats are in the super bowl you must expect a tough game. JackStroud
I do not deny this.....offense is largely skill while D has a lot to do with desire In the SB the Patriots D rose to the occasion, if the Packers faced us in the SB they may have fared better than the drubbing we handed them in Lambeau. My hope is that we find a reliable TE and 3rd WR on O and that Blackburn continues to lead this D to new heights....don't know much about Rivers as a sub but I love this kid Joquian Williams.........he's dynamic. Terrell Thomas is back and I see another Trophy, which is nice 4 is hard to arrange in the trophy case, with 5 you can almost complete the triangle.....a sixth would do that....I can see us running off a few in a row now
