He said he's a really nice kid, but a bit of a bonehead... always coming in with bling and shit he can't really afford because he's "made it." My uncle's always saying to him, "Bruce... you're a fifth-string free-agent corner... you might wanna buy a watch that's under 10 grand, just sayin." You would think vultures were circling around them at their signings because their money (what there is of it) blows up in a big soap bubble and goes pop leaving nothing. But its much simpler than that..these guys know very little (if anything) about how to make money last, grow and what a sustainable lifestyle truly is...Remember a time when the goal for most mortals (including Americans) was to live a Middle Class lifestyle. Now everyone wants to live like a 20 generation long Marquis or Prince of Monaco or something. A simple question I would ask my kids during group sessions would be if you add up the numbers of true millionaires on one side and the wannabes/and everyone else on the other side....which side would be bigger.
