How the fuck did we lose twice to the Skins?

Walked in to work today to a room full of redskins fans and the first thing I hear is...."Giants got lucky".

My response was..."well I guess the redskins have been very unlucky all season".

To me...."well we beat the Giants twice"

Me..."you hang on to that for the next 10 years while we head to our second super bowl in 4 years".

To me...."crickets"

The Giants are just a weird team. They're going to play games throughout the course of a season where they are double digit favorites, and lose them. I don't think that's ever going to change with this group but if they want to give me a season of inconsistent and sometimes uninspired play followed by six weeks of brilliance I'll take it every time.

I think there's some kind of fumes in the swamps that takes them 10-12 weeks to get used to. Probably explains them being better on the road too.

Maybe you should ask Perry.

oh, so you're saying it was Perry who forced up 3 picks and held the ball for a measly 25 minutes of a 60 minute game? They held the ball for nearly a full quarter longer than the Giants did.

Again, Washington ran the ball well and was over 50% on third down--keeping the Giants offense off the field. The Giants were 30% on 3rd down and had a pedestrian running game. They didn't exactly tear our defense up. They played smart and beat the Giants at Giants football.
