It sounds like the injury may cost Nicks some practice time. Immediately after Sunday's win, Nicks described the strain as "slight," suggesting there is no tear of the muscle. In Week 9, the Giants face the Patriots, who are getting gashed by the pass while having lost two of their top three corners and benched one starter at safety. Wishful thinking maybe... if he does it would be a total surprise. He's rusty and hasn't showed much in the first place.. we need Nicks that's for sure.
