Sequence of events:

 

 

Nas- Grant had no chance of making that tackle in the open field (very true). His job after that is to find a way to slow him down (Make him dance, he used specifically- this means: CONTAIN HIM FROM GETTING ANY MORE YARDS), so that the rest of his team can possibly make a tackle.

 

What Grant did: Take a horrible angle, not even trying to make a tackle, and running right by Jackson. What Grant should have done 1. Not taking such a horrible angle at the play 2. Make the tackle or SLOW HIM DOWN by at the least, keeping the play in front of you instead of ummm, running by it.

 

And even though Nas specifically states that Grant probably couldn't make the tackle:

 

HLB: Durrr, I'll repeat exactly what you just said, add some stupid shit about Fewell that you never said, and claim you're wrong, even though, again, I said the exact same thing you just said about taking the right angle and making sure the guy doesn't get in the endzone.

 

 

Seriously, the whole exchange was fucking stupid on HLBs part.
