Allstarjim
Keep in mind that these stats are relative because 4 or 5 teams had a bye week yesterday. But, through the first 5 games: Eli Manning is the 4 highest rated passer in the NFL with a 102.3 rating. He is 6th in passing yardage with 1,486 yards, and tied for 4th with TD passes with 11. Aaron Ross is tied for the NFL lead with 3 INTs with 7 other players. He is also tied for 5th in passes defensed with 7 (Four players lead the NFL with 8). Jason Pierre-Paul is 2nd in the NFL in sacks with 7.0, tied with Jason Babin of the Eagles. As a team, the Giants lead the NFL with 18 sacks. Osi Umenyiora and Dave Tollefson have 2 FF's, which ties them for 2nd in the NFL with 21 other players in that category. The Giants as a team are tied for the league lead with 8 forced fumbles with Indianapolis, Washington, and Baltimore. Hakeem Nicks is 9th in the NFL in receiving yards with 412. Victor Cruz is 15th in the NFL with 386. Now hopefully we can get back on track in being tops in the NFL in the most important statistic... Wins. Steitzenhaus
Some good things there. Nothing you can do about yesterday but it essentially turns next sunday with Buffalo into a must win. Im eager to see how this team responds against a good team because they havent exactly stepped up to the plate against the upper echelon teams the past few years. Agreed, that loss makes the BUF game very important. Now I wish Tuck would play. We need this win bad.
JackStroud
If we keep opening the games with Cruz on the bench nad let opponents run a no huddle on us until we inevitably fall behind............not to mention teams are putting 8-9 in the box against us until we start passing You cannot pull a rabbit out of your hat every week by inserting Cruz in the 2nd half, and not responding to all the pressure..........with pressure of our own we are constantly in catch up mode This coaching staff is geriatric and cluless add to this we play a dangerous desperate team every week and take them lightly frankly i cannot wait until we face better opponents...........then Tom and Jerry.........uh Perry might wake the fkkkk up

NightFire
And what are the stats for offensive turnovers and Eli's turnovers? Those are the real game killers; just like last year.
Sephiroth
Eli has more or less put this team on his shoulders and gotten us three wins. We need someone on defense to do the same. Whether it's Osi, JPP, or Tuck... we need a Strahan-esque game from someone. He's the last guy on this defense I can remember who would single-handedly turn a game by himself.
