JackStroud
http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/CougTo0.htm Notice he peaks in year 5 at each team then starts the inevitable decline....the team tunes out his shouting He finished with the Jaguars in year 8..........asked to leave He is 0-1 in year 8 with the Giants If history repeats itself this is his last year here and he will be asked to leave all in all not a bad career but the window is closing One could argue Ernie Accorsi jinxed him with a Faux Peyton Manning, but nobody told Coughlin to allow him to stay in games where he should have been yanked........Eli has no accountability factor to motivate him
JackStroud
The funny thing is statistically last year was Tom's best year ever offense, and defense in yd gained and allowed, TD's across the board they looked like the SB winners if you tracked the annual stats yet their finish was abysmal.............the season a minor disaster what happened???? fishgutmartyr
The data you provided doesn't support your argument. If they tuned him out, they wouldn't have gone 10-6. Even if he goes 6-10 this year and does get retired, he's still at .500 for the past 3 years, and a damn sight better than his last three years in Jacksonville. What happened last year? Simple. At the very least, they lost the WRONG 6 games. Lose a different game, and win either one against Philly or the Green Bay game, they would have been in the playoffs.
