JMFP
March 29 (ESPN) -- Tiki Barber, the Giants' all-time leading rusher (10,449 yards in 10 seasons), agreed on a two-year contract with the New England Patriots, ESPN reports, citing unidentified league sources. His agent, Mark Lepselter, tweeted: "Tiki Barber is delighted to have the oppportunity to work with the best Coach and QB in the NFL, and bring another Super Bowl to New England." http://www.espn.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=awr42TdFZyGc Wow....surprised Belichick would take a gamble on a 36 year old back....I'm sure his contract will have alot of performance clauses. BlueInCanada
Pats go 18-0 for the next 12 years as Tiki rides to 5000+ yards a season. Odd since the whole lock out that contracts can be signed but I guess for Tiki anything can happen.
JMFP
This is an interesting move for N.E. I mean they have Woodhead, Faulk, Green-Ellis, Fred Taylor and now Tiki at RB. Guess it's going to be RB by comity this season for the Pats. Definitely....it's going to be a crowded backfield. It will be weird seeing Barber wearing a different uniform. Apparently, Belichick must have seen what Jack was talking about....must have a been a good workout.

Now you guys are going to have to eat so much darn crow I had mentioned the PATs as a possibility, glad he's not an Eagle, or a Cowboy most of you thought no one would sign him

Till he rushes for 2000 yards? Till he catching another 2000 yards? Does he make MvP? Does he replace him Tom Brady? But most importantly if Tiki ever going to give you up? Is he ever going to let the Pats down? Is he going to run around?

You were right, and I was wrong. I really didn't think another team was going to give him a fair chance. Hopefully this doesn't come back to bite the Giants. Do not be surprised to see Plaxico join him up there...........Fnnnnnn Pats, I really hate that team I get such a big kick out of seeing Bellicheks face and Jerry Jones face when they lose their last game each year
