Just a head scratcher of a move. yep. couple this with the fact that McDermot was one of "Reid's guys" and was rumored to have been fired over Reid's objections. He did an ok job considering the offense scored quick and the defense was on the field a lot. If not Jim Johnson had died, they might have went all the way this year. He was a mastermind.
