Vince Anderson was placed on the practice squad/injured list and Londen Fryar was signed to take his place. Fryar, 5-11 and 192 pounds, was signed as a rookie free agent by the Kansas City Chiefs on May 8 and was waived on Sept. 4. He played in 42 games with 34 starts at Western Michigan . He is a native of Jobstown , N.J. , near Philadelphia , and is the son of former wide receiver Irving Fryar, who played 17 years in the NFL.
