Lughead
NO ONE They are going to run the #1 (x) WR By committee. Which ever WR they feel like throwing in to that slot any time during a game is going to be the X
BIGBLUE01
That seems like that would be a disaster. I doesnt seem like you could run that like you run a backfield. RB by committee can wk, not so sure about WR by committee.

It wont be Cornfield football
Allstarjim
The number 1 receiver is whoever Eli decides it is on any given play... and I don't mind that at all. I trust Eli can make this work. Boss is going to be big in this offense, I think.
fringe
well i got to see the replay (thank you, jranieli ) and i must say that nicks has hoover sized hands. looks like he's going to be able to haul in anything that comes his way. if the giants don't get a star receiver, they are going to need eli to really step up his game IRT accuracy and touch. if he does and if their OL and DL is as advertised, they may just be able to win this thing. Quote from Allstarjim: Thanks for trying, Gorilla! I guess I'll just have to wait for NFL Network to show it on replay. For those that have the channel and are unable to watch tonight... it is scheduled to replay at 4:00pm tomorrow. Just set the DVR. http://www.sportswrath.com/index.php?app=forums&module=post§ion=post&do=reply_post&f=12&t=31105&qpid=497497

It wont be Cornfield football you sure? I could see Eli in the huddle going OK Hakeem you go left at the trash can and then Steve you are gonna go straight and then make a sharp right at the car I'll hit you guys don't worry just kidding I do think this could work for Eli just slinging the ball to whoever he feels like. JMFP
Nicks will eventually emerge as his go-to guy. The guy catches everything thrown his way.
