What happened to "pitching being our strength" and what was that extra innings 0 - 0 tie last week? It looks like our pitchers are throwing batting practice out there. Clarence the Blue Puppet Posted August 23, 2009 Share Posted August 23, 2009 Posada and Burnett couldn't get on the same page yesterday. I'm losing a lot of confidence in Posada. Burnett was shaking off a lot of pitches. He said he had no confidence in what he was throwing. He had confidence in his curve, but Posada wouldn't call it. I heard somebody mention, also, that it might not be a coincidence that Mussina's only 20 win season with the Yanks was the year Posada was out for the season.
