Lubeck
18 consecutive games without an error.....wow. Amazing what a Gold Glove first baseman can do for a team. And it doesn't hurt at all that the team no longer on the record is Boston. Also what a game for Swish. Hopefully he can keep it up at home where he has been a different player than on the road. And what about that DP by Joba? He was airborne for a good 3 seconds or so....nice job by Posada to come up reminding (AKA screaming in his ear) to get the ball to second. Lubeck
Also....I can't wait to hear what Fatcessa has to say tomorrow. That douche has been on Joba's back the past 2 weeks about being sent to the pen. Anyone who dares questions the unquestionable wisdom of Fatcessa gets the usual screaming rebuttal with no opportunity to respond. Somehow I don't think there will be any humble pie served tomorrow. Virginia Giant
Teixeira? Swisher? Why don't you just mention Arod to push me over the edge of pure hatred?
Lubeck
Teixeira? Swisher? Why don't you just mention Arod to push me over the edge of pure hatred? Whatcha got against Swish? Arod came up with a clutch hit his second time up with bases loaded that really crushed them. Since he has come back the team seems entirely different....not only are they swinging better but..I don't know HOW but they seem more like a TEAM with him around. MakeMeSomeFoodHo
I think its safe to say that once again the best team in the AL resides in the bronx. I must admit, Ive had a lot of concerns not too long ago, but Girardi has to be given some credit here, he has done a fantastic job getting the best from layers liek Melky, Gardner, Pena, Cervelli, while his team had been hit with a ton of injuries. At one point, the yankees had 40% of their starting players on the DL...what team can over something liek that? Not many..but the yankees have. This team is exciting again and I couldnt be happier with them.

I've hated that cocksucker since he was in Oakland.
