BleedinBlue
Okay, now that the baseball season is getting underway, I hit the normal channel numbers on my Direct TV reciever only to find YES missing. So I searched and searched and can't find YES anywhere. WTF???? Anyone else using Direct TV and found that YES is missing? Man that pisses me off. Time Warner still carries YES, but I thought Direct TV always trumped cable for sports.
jranieli
Bleedin, they changed the sports numbers around especially in the 600's. YES is now channel 631 and just in case you were wondering, MSG is now 634, MSG + is 635 and SNY is 639.

Thanks, maybe there's something about my reciever that needs to be changed because my channel listings jump from 613 - 634 MSG, and no numbers in between. So are you paying extra to get those channels or does YES still belong to the standard Direct TV package?

Give 'em a call, and quick. A game starts in 10 min.
jranieli
No, it is part of my standard package. I don't have the sports package. You should call DirectTV, could be a simple mistake or a problem with your box. You can also try to do a full re-boot of your box. Go into your System Setup and find Reset and then try to Reset it completely. If not, call Direct TV.

Must be after they changed the number designations for some channels, and unless the reciever was reset, it must've only had the new channels on whatever previous numbers had been set during the initial setup. I was really worried I wasn't going to be able to follow the Yanks this season and that I would have to buy the baseball package or something. Whew. Thanks again.
