Tempest
I gotta give credit to the Redskins for picking him up and to Albert for becoming the 100 million dollar man. This is not your typical Dan Snyder move, this was the player to sign this offseason and he got the deal done quick. I bet Dan Snyder did not even blink at the thought of that contract. ppodlesny
They probably can't afford anyone else on defense after the contracts of Haynesworth, Hall, and Taylor. lol LMAO! I was thinking the same thing!
ppodlesny
so the defense for the skins right now since they are out of money is Haynesworth playing RE, LDT, RDT, Jason Taylor playing LE, Hall playing the entire secondary, and then all three of them splitting the linebacker spots
CrazedDogs
To be fair, he likely would've played the entire 2007 season if he hadn't been suspended for kicking that dudes head. I think he'll be motivated, though. EVERYONE will demand that of him. That's what's expected when you cash in on $100 million. But yes, I agree that it is a terrible contract to invest in a guy who is a risk. I would say that every signing is a risk, though. It's football, everyone gets injured. If they get him 14 games a year as a Skins fan I would be happy. 14 games means nothing if its just the first 14 games. IF the object is to win championships you need the guys there at the end of the season.
