Herc
we cant let Jacobs hit the open market. some team will throw him ridiculous money. probly $50 to $60 million we should resign him now to 5 years 28 million he wont sign that contract

osi724dasack
he wont sign that contract he may. Osi and Tuck did. and the absolute most I think he gets from us is $36 over 6. RB's are easily replaceable with this O-Line and if he walks then we can re-sign Ward for much cheeper, and use Bradshaw, Ware, and a BIG rookie RB that has power. I hope we have him back, he is a beast, but I dont think Reese is gonna break the bank on him considering we have to pay Eli too much money as it is. id be astonished if he gets $40 million
osi724dasack
Jacobs is not a complete RB. Not Elite either He lacks top end breakaway speed. Put him behind an average O-Line and his YPC drops to 4.0 Cant catch passes Cant stay healthy when he doesnt even get a full load of work. but we also know what he CAN DO, and that has to be considered as well during this negotiation period. so we shall see what the F/O elects to do.
