TaylorBanksCarsonVanPelt Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 agreed on pretty much every account. plax was suspended more than enough and prob more than his infraction deserved. i still maintain we should've suspende dim the rest of th regular season and activated him for the playoffs--2 weeks would've been plenty of time to shake off the rust and we'd probably be playing this week if we had. like i've said many times, i care way more about winning than proving a poitn to everyone that we're just this oh so classy franchise. fuck that bullshit, win superbowls. Its something the Giants specialize in ....falling on the sword for the good of the LEAGUE....LOL!!! If Wellington were alive he would be running to the league offices to see how fast the Giants could bend over for the punishment. At this point I kind of wish football would become more like baseball where the NY teams give their collective asses to the league and are in the mix and have won the most Championships of anyone in sports. The Giants did preemptive suspension but that in no way should stop Goodall from another suspension. He has been heavy handed on some players and lax on others.
