The Draft Thread

I'm only going first 3 picks because the draft is still far off.

1 Brian Cushing, OLB, USC

2 Louis Murphy, WR, UF or Hakeem Nicks, WR, UNC

2 Marcus Freeman, OLB, Ohio State University

I like Freeman because he has played the weakside linebacker position for OSU for three years as the starter. He runs a 4.5/4.6 40 time. He's 6'1" and about 240lbs.

I know nothing about college players, like I've said before.

I would like:

1.OLB someone solid who can cover and come right in beside Pierce..let the other LBs we have fight it out for the last spot

2.OLB/WR either of the two draft the most valuable

2.OL think it's about time we start breeding a nice solid O-line player to come in when our line eventually moves on

3.OLB/WR which ever we didnt pick up in the second try and take one now

The rest of the picks Resse can do what he wants with.

I like those picks for the most part... Cushing looks like he could bring our defense to new levels... He's a freak of a linebacker in both the pass rush and in coverage... I like both of those wr's but this draft is loaded with talented wideouts so I would be happy with any number of them... Also, I know its never going to happen, but I wouldn't mind finding a way to trade up to grab Orakpo... Imagine a DE rotation with Osi and Tuck with Kiwi and Orakpo joining them on the third down pass rush and giving them a break when needed... We would have the most dominant pass rush in the league for the next several years

1. Clint Sintim, OLB, Virginia, 6'3 - 250 lbs 4.5. LB that can Rush the QB and can cover.

2. Louis Murphy, WR, Florida, 6'2 - 210 lbs 4.3. Hopefully we'll get better Numbers from this Gator WR than that piece of shit Hillary.

3. Marcus Freeman, OLB, OU, 6'2 - 239 lbs 4.6. Solid LB that can cover too. A Little smallish though...

Reese should trade for a draft pick that big mistake by Accorsi. I mean, the dwarf receiver named Moss, whose name should be Loss, based on his accomplishments in the past 3 years. What kind of draft pick do you think we can get for Loss?

Nem, I like Sintim, also. I actually think he's a player that can lineup at DE as well and be a good pass rusher. If I'm Reese, though, one of my top priorities in this draft is finding a linebacker that can keep up (for the most part) with guys like Jason Witten, Brian Westbrook, and Clinton Portis in pass coverage. I think Freeman may be that guy.

1-sintim or cushing whichever is available

2a-kenny britt

2b-patrick chung

Hey Pdouble, I actually like Kenny Britt and would take him. Although there are a lot of talented WR's in this draft, there are not that many that have the numbers and the size that Britt has. I think we definitely need to make sure we get a big, tall WR for Eli, and Britt fits the mold. I have no idea how fast he is, though. And I know he's an underclassman, but Gresham from Oklahoma was very impressive in the national championship game and I think he's going to be terrific in the NFL. I would convert him to WR, though (from TE). I know some people have their doubts about drafting a Rutgers WR, but I think he would be a good fit for us. I also like Murphy from Florida because although he's only 6'2", he is ridiculously fast, and has a little weight on him, as well, so he's not just a beanpole that can't go over the middle.

I also agree with you on Sintim or Cushing, but who would you pick if they are both available in that spot? I think I would pick Cushing.

As for Chung, not sure why you would want to go with Safety with that high of a pick? I like our safeties (at least the future starters, Michael Johnson and Kenny Phillips).

its kind of a toss up between cushing and sintim for me though right now im leaning towards cushing.

im just still not completely sold on our strong safety position and i really like chung.

Cushing will not fall to us. Plus, that guy is always hurt.
