BIGBLUE01
I like it to but didn't Butler get hurt last game? Yeah, let me rephrase myself. I like the fact that our draft picks are so good and can come in and play right away. I also like what Ive seen in Kenny, so I'm happy he's the one filling Butlers shoes temporarily. I was never a fan of Butler till this season, he has been playing well. So, I dont like that someone who's been in the system and turned up his level of play got injured, but I'm glad we have someone filling in who's already made an impact. Incidentally I clicked on your link and it said it was due to Butler's injury in the first paragraph, so I guess I should've clicked on the link first, lol. I like Phillips also, think he is a beast, and that Butler's days as a starter are over.

I love the fact that everyone in our secondary now, is not only good, but very young. (Webster, Ross, Johnson and Phillips)

I love the fact that everyone in our secondary now, is not only good, but very young. (Webster, Ross, Johnson and Phillips) That is pretty much the whole team. And they are signed. Yesterday afternoon a caller was asking Francesa if he thought the Giants were built to compete for the next few seasons and before he could finish his question Francesa was saying "Yes! Yes! Yes! For many seasons!"

The O-line is the oldest unit. But you kind of want that for an oline, experience.

Mr. P
for what its worth, johnson will move to strong safety and phillips will start at free safety when butler is healthy i dont see him staying on the bench and johnson staying at strong safety if anything phillips keeps starting and johnson comes in sparingly with butler starting at strong

I always looked at Kenny as a SS and Johnson as a FS.

osi724dasack
You hate Johnson? Why? He's played real well. hes a poor tackler, takes bad angles, and is out of place alot. his pass d is solid though
BIGBLUE01
hes a poor tackler, takes bad angles, and is out of place alot. his pass d is solid though Well, he played solid last night, and got a bullshit holding penalty called on him that negated the Hixon TD. But he looked good again.
RandolphScott
My opinion: Butler is the weakest link. I'd have you know that the Giants organization thinks very highly of Butler and aside from that tackling gaffe against Pittsburgh...what has he done wrong this year? But he looked good again. Yeah, what was up with that? I ran that play back a few times...from the angle we had at home, it looked like he was penalized for making too good of a block. No harm done though, the team closed out the drive with a TD anyway.

That was a serious fucking 'gaffe'. I prefer 'brainfart'.
