Lubeck Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 The only time this guy is shown is when he is getting burned or drawing a penalty. Terrel Thomas has to be better.
Tempest Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Ummmm no. Dockery is solid, just was a second off on timing and misread a play. The only time this guy is shown is when he is getting burned or drawing a penalty. Terrel Thomas has to be better.
RandolphScott Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 GateB and I were just talking about this yesterday. Dockery is really good at covering guys like Wes Welker, Santana Moss, etc. But he really can't cover the deep ball very well.
Lubeck Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 Ummmm no. Dockery is solid, just was a second off on timing and misread a play. Ummmmmmmmm yes. It was not just one play where he misread it there were at least 3 I can recall not including the penalty. I did not see one impact play from him this week compared to like I said 4 I can think of where he was burnt or called on a penalty.
TheShocker Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 dockery isn't too bad, he had that one nice play on 3rd down i think on the rams first or second series
Lubeck Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 wasn't that philips on that TD? Yeah but that has nothing to do with anything that has been said here. That was just a play that went the wrong way. Phillips made a good move and had a chance at the pick but Holt ended up with the ball.

He made a really nice play on a short pass early on in the game, but looked lost in space with deep throws. I love the way Spags handled him on that one play he misread though.
fringe Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Yeah but that has nothing to do with anything that has been said here. That was just a play that went the wrong way. Phillips made a good move and had a chance at the pick but Holt ended up with the ball. yes i know- i saw it.
Lubeck Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 yes i know- i saw it. Then why are you even discussing it in a topic that is completely unrelated?
fringe Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Then why are you even discussing it in a topic that is completely unrelated? don't get your panties in a bunch, lubey. i thought that was the play you were discussing.
Lubeck Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 don't get your panties in a bunch, lubey. i thought that was the play you were discussing. My panties are in a permanently bunched position thank you very much
boohyah Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Dockery had a bad day today, but overall he's done a good job back there.
Treehugger Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Yeah but that has nothing to do with anything that has been said here. That was just a play that went the wrong way. What was the Sportswrath concensus?
BlueInCanada Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 I only saw it on highlights but it looked to me like Phillips was the one with the ball. What was the Sportswrath concensus? My opinion. Holt had the ball, just a good play that bounced the wrong way for us.
Lubeck Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 The last time I saw the ball before they were blocking if from view Phillips looked like he had it. But Holt had it when the two were separated.
boohyah Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 The last time I saw the ball before they were blocking if from view Phillips looked like he had it. But Holt had it when the two were separated. I found that whole thing strange. Why didn't Coughlin challenge that?, and why, with all the replays they have in football these days, didn't they have an angle from Philips side of the ball. It's possible that Holt trapped that ball against the turf.
Lubeck Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 I'm pretty sure he did. I guess they figured there was not enough evidence to overrule...you would need to clearly see the ball hit the ground and before the ball dissapeared it did ALMOST hit the ground but someone kept it up. Phillips should have been trying to bat the ball away instead of getting the pick. Rookie mistake.
Virginia Giant Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 My panties are in a permanently bunched position thank you very much I concur
JMFP Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 When a guy like Dockery can be considered the weak link, you've got a pretty kick-ass defense.
Lubeck Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 Bump. Dockery is getting picked on again and once again is making mental errors. Too much cushion, too soft on tackling. Bring in Madison!
TaylorBanksCarsonVanPelt Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Yeah I just posted his sleepwalking act on Chatman....Jesus cost us a score on the next play.
Storm Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Damn can he sniff out that WR screen though. That was a big play.
