so-cal dub Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 ---link--- This will be a blip on the radar screen today with news of the Jeremy Shockey to the Saints trade breaking, but always want to keep you posted on everything from the biggest transactions to the smallest: OT Shane Olivea has officially signed with the Giants, according to his agent, Kenny Zuckerman. Olivea, the former Charger who reportedly had a four-game drug suspension lifted recently, officially put his name on a contract today after passing a physical. His signing isn't exactly great news for OT Guy Whimper, the team's fourth-round pick in 2006 whose spot as the team's third tackle is now in jeopardy.
