Ditto
Joba Chamberlain, Ian Kennedy and Phil Hughes combined for five scoreless innings to lead the New York Yankees past South Florida 11-4 on Friday." ...it's a start. I can't remember when I've been this excited about an upcoming season. I know it's premature, but I think we finally have a rotation to be reckoned with. I still predict Hughes will be the ace of the staff by June, and if I'm wrong and Chamberlain wins that spot, it'll be even better because I'm that sure of Hughes. Espn will dub 'em the YANKEE NATION.

I just hope Farnsworth can be a solid closer, cause obviously Mariano is gettin up there.

I doubt if Farnsworth will ever have the stomach to fill the closer role, but I do have my eye on Scott Patterson, a 28 yr old who pitched lights out for Trenton last year, striking out 92 in 77 innings with a 1.05 ERA. If not, it'll have to be Joba or the committee thing.
