So explain to me which TE you would take that has the same gamechanging ability as Jeremy Shockey. Carbo's knowledge of Giants football. What is nonexistant? Yes it is remote.But if I was Ernie I would consider it greatly. And the original reason for the post was if it could happen wouldn't you grab AJ Hawk at that spot. Why is everyone going crazy about it. The people who respond with vulgarity and discount it outright as if it is madness are child like and narrow minded at best. Forget about the draft pick. While Hawk is an absolute beast and the best OLB in the draft, is he really worth Shockey and a handful of picks? I don't think so. Say you want about Shockey, but you can't argue the fact that he put up one of his best seasons, statistically, ever with an inexperienced QB that missed him countless times.
