RandolphScott
Nnamdi Asomugha would look very good in blue (or red) but I guess safety is a bigger concern. He would also fulfill our hard to pronounce defensive player signings for the year. That's true too. But I don't think Corner is our most pressing need, it's up there but it's not number 1 in my opinion. 1. Safety 2. Corner 3. Outside Linebacker. xxi-xxv
I'd have to see more from Johnson and I'm in the minority but I personally think that Gibril Wilson is completely useless. All he ever does is tackle high, but we could have Roy Williams in our secondary. You bet your ass I'd take Dawkins if he ever left the Eagles. As much as I cannot stand him, the guy is a great football player and isn't a lockerroom cancer. I am with you on Wilson, as overrated a Giant as there has been in years. As for Dawkins, he is 34, certainly not on the upside, but as a mentor to some young athletic guys like JOhnson and Dahl(whom really grew as the year progressed) I think could do wonders for us. As for Dawkins, he is 34, certainly not on the upside, but as a mentor to some young athletic guys like JOhnson and Dahl(whom really grew as the year progressed) I think could do wonders for us. The guy had one good year (2003) and hasn't been the same since. It seems he was the only guy who has seemed to thrive under Tim Lewis and regress under Spagnuolo. That's fucking scary. I think Dawkins would be that shot in the arm the Giants secondary needs, sorta like Pedro Martinez did to the Mets back in '05. He'd be that emotional leader the secondary and the defense has sorely needed since Armstead left. I think Johnson can be good, surely no worse than Gibril Wilson. But I would like to see more of him, with the injuries tomorrow I guess we shall. Sorry Blu, I didn't see that..my bad.

Virginia Giant
As much as I love A Pierce, a stud MLB in the draft would not bother me I agree, I really like Pierce, he's a good leader, but I think we could do better at the spot. Problem is where do we move Pierce? With his lack of coverage skills he'd be a liability at OLB.

With his lack of coverage skills he'd be a liability at OLB. He wouldn't be moved now. If he can't play middle linebacker for the Giants, he'll be suiting up somewhere else at Middle. I think he's a little slow to play elsewhere.
xxi-xxv
When its January 12th and we are talking about replacing good players, we are in good shape, like I said, 3rd youngest team in the league(and thats with Strahan, Toomer, RW and Feagles upping the average)and still playing. I believe the future is bright and Reese ha sthus far proven to be a tremendous judge os talent. Not to mention after 15 years we have figured out how to manage the cap. so-cal dub
I guess it really doesnt matter who is available anyway. The Redskins are going to land every high profile free agent.

NeMesiS
I would like to keep Gibril Wilson only because there's really not the many safeties in free agentcy and the draft better than Wilson. I honestly don't think he's completely useless. He's no Sean taylor, or Brain Dawkins, but he's alot better than Roy Williams.

The curse of The Youngster and his inability to manage the cap has been finally expiated. Acorsi never knew what the fuck he was doing either; locking up broken down veterans and practice squad guys thrive on other teams.
BIGBLUE01
I would like to see us get Asante Samuel. This is what Im talkin about, this is what we really need. Although I dont think CJ is that big of a problem, Id love to have him, but CB is more of a pressing need.

xxi-xxv
Am I the only one that does not want to tie up enormous amounts of cap space on a guy like Assante Samuel? I would rather a lesser paid safety than pay the money he is going to get.
