osi724dasack
ok imagine this.... a 3-4 that consists of... Strahan Robbins Coefield Tuck Kiwi Osi Torbor Wilson Butler Ross Madison that would be some great size upfront...and if we did this once in a while it would work all the time... just blitz atleast 5 out of the front
Lubeck
And they just audible to a pass and torch us. Horrible idea, let the guys play where they are supposed to.
Storm
yah, it sounds like a bad idea...we have a hard enough time running our base defense.
feefifoefum
Why don't we run the single wing on offense ?

Lubeck
Torbor instead of Pierce??? Stoner logic means put all the pass rushers you can on the field. Torbor was a DE.

So, he thinks Torbor at DE instead putting Osi there, and then Kiwi and Pierce in the middle is better? Yup, stoner logic!lol
Virginia Giant
Actually guys, it's not a "terrible" idea, there are passing situations where it could work. Watch a Ravens game sometime, they'll throw 5 LB's and 1 lineman and over load one side of the ball and blitz. The other team knows its a blitz, but are helpless. Problem with this is you need CB's who can stick to their man for a couple seconds for the blitz to get there.

BIGBLUE01
Hence why it is a "terrible" idea. You beat me too it. Although Madison and Ross have shown promise.
randoff
Dateline September 30th.... Pierce has blitzed along with the front 3. Osi has been put in as a LB (on some plays) and is effective with the pressure. Aaron Ross is starting and looks ok. (Torbor hasn't played)
