Anyway, we got one new member and 1 member thats came back after a brief hiatus. I am absolutely not trying to sound preachy, I am guilty of this myself, but lets avoid turning this section into a GMB Hate Club, we all (well most) dislike the place, but lets focus on Giants football and each other rather than spending significant time trashing GMB. Christ sakes. I never said they "had" to stop, simply made a request that we stick to football and not cry about how bad GMB is all the time. And the discussions quickly turned to Giants and not GMB. It is inevitable that when the season gets going members will join from GMB and will want to mention just why they came over. And members who are here already are going to agree. But when has it gone beyond that? Even making a joking reference about using your mod abilities seems out of hand. But that is just me. Obviously you weren't on SW 1 when we spent the better part of our days for a good 2 weeks trashing GMB and 1 or 2 mods specifically. The second part of my post was directed at Dub. Simply put, I was just trying to avoid several weeks of GMB trashing and very little Giants talk like has happened before. I know the GMB has lots of quantity and very little quality with some awful posters and trolls ! .....but we need a bit more volume over here too ( IMO ) I probably dont get on here that much at peak times ( being 5 hours + ahead ) ...but we could do with about 20 more high quality , intelligent posters to enhace a more instant response on current topics Having said that ...i think SportsWrath is great ( and even the trolls are worthy ! ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
