Yeah no reason why he should make that money for a mediocre QB. BTW, her name is Keri Sable, hope you heard of her. She is a tight biotch.

Well I looked her up, and she's a pornstar. Big suprize. Pretty, but a whore.

yah, 4-9, right NOW. We havent had any cuts or anything. I also heard a while back they were trying to restructure Toomer and Strahan. We will sign free agents that will help us out, we are just waiting until the right players don't get the deals they want. Plus, that 4-9 is without or rookie pool factored in, isnt it?

Signing Arrington again at a better price would be mad clutch...it doesn't look like he's garnering any attention from anyone else and maybe he'll come back with a chip on his shoulder. We're getting younger and faster...yet we still have a good solid core of players. This year won't be that bad, I don't believe.

On the Droughns note, I honestly hope he wins that starting job. Jacobs doesn't strike me as the leader he strikes all of you as...he fumbles at clutch moments and has a hard time lowering his shoulder and actually driving a pile. Droughns is a big, powerful back who has that explosiveness to pick up bigger chunks of yardage...plus, he's proven he can be a workhorse already. If he comes to camp in shape and motivated, I don't see how he won't be our starter. But I would bet Jacobs still gets 10-15 carries a game, which is perfect for the type of back that he is.

I read it was 5.5 mil... which is better, but not as good as 20. But it doesn't add up for me. I mean Eli's hit was 16.5 mil??? Anyway, as you can tell I read 5.5, you say 4-9. Nobody knows for sure and nobody will unless you work for the Gmen, so take it as that. We still will have alot next year, just not as much as I originally thought.

There's a reason he wasn't starting... and not only because of Bruce and Holt.

Besides, the Rams always use 3 WR sets.

and he was number 3 and normally in(especially with Martz), wasnt he? that means he should have slightly more than 1200 yards in 3 seasons....Bruce and Holt are/were falling off and getting old.

I'm just gonna have to think that the Eagles were desperate here and needed to fill a glaring spot that Stallworth left....whereas we have two proven WRs (well, one's a headcase) and a potentially great slot guy, ourselves...the need just wasnt there to justify us breaking the bank on a speedy guy that we already have the same player in Moss.

This might be Eli's make or break year. If he finally plays up to his contract, next off season he'll probably get restructured/extended. If not, all bets are probably off. The thing is he's neither done so well that the Giants would be in a hurry to resign him, but not so horribly to not pick up the two year option.

Maybe.

he's been injured for a year...Santana Moss is certainly a better player than Kevin Curtis, if his brother is half as good, we're set. As far as I'm concerned, Curtis has 1200 yards more than Moss and has played 3 years longer, thats it.

Exactly. He's been injured for a year. We have no idea what we have with the guy, good or bad. It would have been nice to have Curtis and Moss. But at that contract, we did the right thing.

you can't pass judgment on a guy that didn't get on the field...but, I've always held that we should have picked up Santonio Holmes in the first at the spot we were at...but oh well...I did not want Kevin Curtis on the team, I'd rather have a 5th round draft pick this year than him.

I really liked the idea of trading down. But I don't know if I would have picked up Moss, I wasn't too keen on either wide receiver. Holmes hasn't exactly been making history either.

he made it on the field more, though, i think...plus Pittsburgh isnt exactly known for their over the top game...

By trading down, we avoided drafting a thug (Holmes) and drafted a stud at DE who will be a force along with Osi and we also drafted a WR who gives us the exact type of player we need.

That was a great trade. Didn't we also land Wilkinson because of it too?

I'm not sure if we used the pick for wilkinson or whimper.

It was a great trade, I'm just not sure what we have in Moss yet, since we never really got a chance to see him play.

Yep. Might be. By taking the hit this year, they picked up the option on 2007 and 2008. But if he doesn't improve, it's a safe bet that QB will be on the "things to draft" list next year.

I personally judge players based on their talent, not whether or not they are a thug.

I do. And maybe you should too. I dont know how you, or anyone else for that matter feels, but when they put on a GIANTS uniform they represent all of GIANTS. From the top to the bottom. Now, there is room for giving guys a chance, but who wants a "P-Man Jones" kind of guy. Not me. Anyone feel me?
